Dr. Yasmin Jahan obtained her Diploma in Ophthalmology from Lions Eye Institute and Hospital and her M.B.B.S. from Chittagong Medical College, Chittagong in the year of 1986.
Prior to joining Prime Bank Eye Hospital she worked in the Lions Eye Institute and Hospital as Senior Consultant. She joined there as a Medical Officer in February, 1995. She served there in different positions for twenty years of her career. In 2009, she became a Junior Consultant cum Registrar. Dr. Yasmin also has one year experience of a Honorary Home Surgeon in the department of Ophthalmology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). She joined Prime Bank Eye Hospital in January, 2016 as a Consultant and actively provides her service till date.
Dr. Yasmin Jahan has several publications in different national journals. She is an expert in Manual and Phaco Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma Management, and Oculoplastic Surgery.
Dr. Yasmin Jahan was born on 6th August 1962 in Dhaka. She completed her schooling from Viqarunnisa Noon School.
